Sritara Pasricha was crowned Miss Universe Haryana 2026 on the glitzy evening of June 18, 2026. Alongside winning that glittering crown, she also earned the rights to represent her state, Haryana, at the most prestigious beauty pageant in the country – Miss Universe India, to take place on August 18, 2026 in Jaipur.

Sritara Pasricha is a model from Karnal, Haryana, and is currently based in New Delhi. Born and raised in Karnal, she is pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and is currently in her third year. Fluent in English and Hindi, Sritara stands at 171 cm (5'8") and has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. Sritara began her modelling journey at the age of 16, before entering the world of pageantry at 17. Her early experience in the industry gradually led her towards a deeper interest in beauty, fashion and self-expression. In 2024, she earned a teen pageant title, marking an important milestone in her journey. Over the years, she has also had the opportunity to work with recognised fashion and lifestyle brands, further establishing herself within the modelling space.
Her journey, however, has been shaped by experiences that extend beyond the world of fashion and pageantry. Growing up with premature grey hair and struggling with her weight, Sritara often faced judgement for looking different. For years, she tried to change herself in an effort to feel accepted, until she gradually realised that meaningful change had to begin from within. What once made her want to hide eventually became the reason she chose to be seen, transforming a personal insecurity into a source of confidence and purpose. This experience became the foundation of INNERA, her initiative dedicated to helping people feel more at home in their own bodies. Through INNERA, Sritara hopes to encourage greater self-acceptance and remind others that confidence does not necessarily come from conforming to conventional ideas of appearance, but from developing a stronger relationship with oneself.

Alongside modelling and pageantry, Sritara has a keen interest in dance and aerial arts, which allow her to express herself through movement while continually challenging her physical and creative abilities. Her journey reached a significant milestone in 2026 when she was crowned Miss Universe Haryana 2026. The title marked the culmination of years of personal growth and perseverance, while also giving her the opportunity to represent Haryana at the Miss Universe India 2026 national finals.
From stepping in front of a camera for the first time at 16 to hearing her name announced as Miss Universe Haryana 2026, Sritara's journey reflects a gradual evolution from self-doubt to self-belief. Her story is rooted in the understanding that the qualities she once considered imperfections could, in time, become the very things that gave her the confidence to stand apart.

In the coming weeks, she will be seen walking down the stage at the most anticipated beauty pageant of the country – Miss Universe India. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2026 competition, scheduled to happen by end of this year in Puerto Rico.
