Prakruthi Kambam was crowned Miss Universe Andhra Pradesh 2025 at the state finals of the competition held on June 7, 2025. She was crowned by Miss Universe India 2024 (fourth runner-up), Ruopfuzhano Whiso. At the same event, Salone Walvekar and Inganti Anusri Reddy were crowned the runners-up. Prakruthi will now represent Andhra Pradesh at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe India competition, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
Prakruthi Kambam is a 24-year-old actor and choreographer, standing 5'8" tall. With a background in Accounting and Finance, she brings a unique blend of creativity and resilience to her work. Raised across Hyderabad, the U.S. and Bengaluru, she grew up surrounded by diverse cultures and values. Her journey has been shaped by deep personal challenges, which she has transformed into strength and purpose. Dance became her safe space and healing outlet, leading her to explore artistic forms like canvas and glass painting. Today, she advocates for community-based safety for women and children through her initiative "Safe Circles," which promotes early intervention, safe spaces and creative healing. A polyglot, fluent in five languages (Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, English), Prakruthi believes in the power of expression, empathy, and community to build a safer, more supportive world.
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe India contest, representing Andhra Pradesh. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
