Meet Nigeria’s newly crowned beauty queens

The closing ceremony and coronation night of Exquisite Queen Nigeria World beauty pageant culminated with a scintillating finale on March 30, 2025 in Lekki. At the conclusion of the event, Nigeria’s representatives to some of the most celebrated international beauty pageants were crowned.

Mercy Babajide was crowned Miss Aura International Nigeria 2025; Oribayo Funmilayo won the Miss Glam World Nigeria 2025 title; Felix-Briggs Favour secured the title of Miss Supermodel Worldwide Nigeria 2025; Rebecca Ogunnaike was named Miss Culture International Nigeria 2025; Esther Nmor won Miss Glam Universe Nigeria 2025 title and Chiagozie Ezekwe clinched the Miss Environment Nigeria 2025 crown. All these beautiful women would now go on to represent Nigeria at their respective international competitions to take place later this year.

The finale of this prestigious Nigerian beauty pageant began with a stunning showcase of the nation's rich culture, as contestants walked the stage in traditional outfits, each reflecting the unique stories of Nigeria’s diverse heritage. This colourful display was followed by the evening gown segment, where the contestants radiated elegance and charm as they captivated the audience.

One of the most cheerful moments of the night was the crowning ofthe crowed favourite candidate, Mercy Babajide from Ekiti State as the new Exquisite Queen Nigeria World. A talented broadcast journalist, Mercy impressed both the judges and the audience with her elegance and strong communication skills.

The event also celebrated the achievements of the outgoing titleholder, Joy Oranezi and highlighted the pageant's remarkable journey over the past decade. As the glitzy evening concluded, guests left with a deep sense of pride and excitement for the future, cherishing an evening that beautifully combined tradition, heritage and elegance of Nigeria.
