Akash Doultani from Madhya Pradesh has been selected as one of the national finalists for the 2026 Mr. India Universe competition. The national finale of the competition is scheduled to take place later this year. At the culmination of the event, the new Mr. India Universe winner will be chosen.
Akash Doultani is a fitness coach, content creator and athlete from Madhya Pradesh. He belongs to Satna, where he was born, raised and is currently based. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management and is a trilingual, fluent in Hindi, English and Sindhi. Having developed a passion for athletics from an early age, he has a keen interest in cricket, dance, travel and fitness, all of which have shaped his disciplined and competitive mindset. As an INFS-certified fitness coach, he has successfully coached more than 80 clients, specialising in sustainable body transformation, while continuously expanding his expertise in nutrition, biomechanics, gut health and lifestyle-related health conditions. His achievements include attaining single-digit body fat, building an organically grown fitness community and becoming a sponsored athlete for a leading fitness brand. His work primarily focuses on coaching individuals through personalised fitness programmes while promoting evidence-based health and fitness education through digital content. After completing his education, he made the crucial decision to step away from his family's business to pursue fitness as a full-time career. Despite spending over two and a half years creating content, studying and coaching with limited recognition or commercial success, he remained committed to his vision. His persistence was rewarded in 2025 when his work began gaining widespread traction, leading to a growing client base, brand collaborations and professional recognition. Today, he continues to build his coaching platform with the long-term vision of establishing a fitness company capable of transforming thousands of lives. Driven by his own experiences of overcoming uncertainty and self-doubt, he is committed to helping individuals who have struggled with their health and confidence rediscover belief in themselves through sustainable fitness and lifestyle transformation.
Mr. India Universe is a national competition for men in India. It is organised by Glamanand Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the Indian franchise holder of the globally renowned Miss Universe competition. The event is spearheaded by its founder and chairman, Nikhil Anand, and serves as a platform for aspiring male models and personalities from across the country. Following a nationwide audition process, some of India's most talented and promising contestants have been selected to compete in this year's national finale. Before the grand finale, the finalists will undergo an intensive series of grooming and training sessions designed to enhance their confidence, communication skills, personality and stage presence. The contestants will arrive at the finale venue, where they will participate in a schedule of official photoshoots, pre-finale activities, rehearsals and a range of preliminary events leading up to the grand finale. At the culmination of the competition, the reigning Mr. India Universe, Bishan Madappa from Karnataka, will ceremonially relinquish his title and award his successor.
