Akanksha Choudhary has been chosen as one of the national finalists for the biggest beauty pageant in the country – Miss Universe India 2025, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks. She appeared for the final auditions of the 2025 Miss Universe India competition held on June 15, 2025 at the Hotel Opulent by Ferns N Petals in New Delhi and made her way to the national finals.
Akanksha Choudhary, a 22-year-old model from Jaipur, is a B.Tech graduate who grew up excelling in academics and sports. Raised in an education-focused and academically inclined family, she always aimed for excellence. While preparing for IIT-JEE and completing her engineering degree, her heart quietly held onto a dream sparked by watching beauty queens on television. After facing rejections in pageants for three years, she finally earned the title of First Runner-Up at Miss Rajasthan, a turning point that fuelled her passion further. This 5’8” tall model recently moved to Mumbai to pursue acting. Her advocacy, “Compassion Across Generations,” focuses on uplifting the elderly by promoting digital literacy and creating inclusive experiences that restore dignity and connection. Through her journey, Akanksha hopes to inspire young girls to believe in their dreams and take that first bold step forward.
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe competition. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
