Kashvi from Hyderabad was crowned Miss Universe Telangana 2025 at the state finals of the competition held on June 7, 2025 in Hyderabad. She was crowned by Miss Universe India 2024 (fourth runner-up), Ruopfuzhano Whiso. Kashvi will now represent Telangana at the upcoming edition of Miss Universe India competition, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
Kashvi is a 19-year-old medical student and professional model based in Hyderabad, currently pursuing her MBBS. Born in New York and raised in Telangana, she was brought up by a single mother and has transformed childhood bullying into a story of strength and determination. Alongside her academic path in medicine, she is actively involved in modelling, acting and public speaking. Kashvi has represented India on international platforms, winning titles such as Best in Talent and Best Speaker. She leads multiple initiatives, including a youth-driven satellite mission aimed at promoting global mental health support and improving access to care in underserved regions. Back home, she helps coordinate a mobile hospital for breast cancer screening in rural Telangana and teaches science at local orphanages. Kashvi believes in breaking stereotypes and building bridges between science, art and social impact through passion, courage and service.
In the coming months, she will be seen walking down the stage at the 2025 Miss Universe India contest, representing Telangana. The competition is owned by one of the biggest beauty pageant organizations in the world – the Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd (popularly known as the Glamanand Group). The organization was established by its founder and president, Nikhil Anand in the year 2013 and gradually it became one of the leading beauty pageant producers in the world. At the conclusion of this year’s Miss Universe India competition, the reigning titleholder, Rhea Singha from Gujarat will crown her successor, who would later go onto represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to happen in the month of November in Thailand.
