Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri won Puteri Indonesia 2025

The biggest and most prestigious beauty pageant in Indonesia – Puteri Indonesia culminated on May 2, 2025. at the Jakarta International Convention Center's Plenary Hall (JCC) in Jakarta. This year's competition, themed "Be Right, Be Bright," was participated by 45 candidates from throughout the archipelago, such as a first-time entry for South Papua and comebacks of North Kalimantan and North Maluku. In a stunning evening of poise, elegance and culture, it was Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri from East Java who finally took home the prestigious crown of Puteri Indonesia 2025. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Harashta Haifa Zahra of West Java, who had proceeded to win Miss Supranational 2024.

Firsta’s crowning moment was the highlight of a competition that not only celebrated Indonesian beauty and culture but also underlined the importance of perseverance and grace. Alongside her, 5 other titles were also awarded: Melliza Xaviera Putri Yulian of Jakarta SCR 1 was named Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2025, Salma Ranggita Cahyariyani from South Sumatra 1 won Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2025, Rinanda Aprillya Maharani from East Kalimantan earned the title of Puteri Indonesia Pendidikan 2025, Syafira Mardhiyah from Banten was crowned Puteri Indonesia Kebudayaan 2025, and Maharani Divaningtyas of Yogyakarta SR was named Puteri Indonesia Inovasi dan Digital 2025.

The evening was co-hosted by veteran presenter Choky Sitohang, who returned for his 14th time, and model-TV host Patricia Gouw, marking her fifth hosting appearance. The star-studded finale also featured lively musical performances by Ari Lasso, Ziva Magnolya and Baim, which added to the pageant’s grandeur.

What made this edition particularly special was the attendance of four reigning international beauty queens, making it a truly global celebration of beauty. These included Miss Supranational 2024 Harashta Haifa Zahra (from Indonesia), Miss Cosmo 2024 Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari (from Indonesia), Miss International 2024 Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy (from Vietnam), and Miss Charm 2024 Rashmita Rasindran (from Malaysia). Their presence added even more sparkle and glare to the already blinding starlight of the evening.

The judging panel was a multi-faceted mix of veterans of the pageant business, government bureaucrats and business professionals. They included Kusuma Dewi Sutanto (Yayasan Puteri Indonesia Head), Mega Angkasa (YPI Communications Head), Kusuma Ida Anjani (Director of Mustika Ratu), Farhana Nariswari (Puteri Indonesia 2023), Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin (DPD Speaker), Rosan Roeslani (Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry), Titiek Suharto (Member of the House of Representatives), Widiyanti Putri (Minister of Tourism), and Jahja Setiaatmadja (President Director of Bank Central Asia).

The Special awards ceremony also made the evening more thrilling. Rinanda Aprillya Maharani also emerged on top, taking Best in Evening Gown, Miss Talent and Miss Intelligence. Antung Aulia Salsa Bella of South Kalimantan 2 took Best in Traditional Costume and Putri Agita Sembiring Milala of North Sumatra 1 was declared Miss Congeniality. Maharani Divaningtyas also took Miss Favorite, and Nur Azelia Humani Santang of South Kalimantan 1won Miss Influencer. The Puteri Indonesia 2025 contest not only glorified Indonesia's rich heritage, diversity and womanhood but also cemented the country's steady rise on the global pageantry platform. With Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri standing tall to represent the nation abroad, everyone now has eyes glued to her next destination as she embarks to carry the Indonesian sash on one of the globe's largest beauty stages.
